Context
A gray-box interaction prototype exploring how the Leap Motion 2 can become a primary input device for embodied, low-friction play. The penguin is a deliberate choice — a body whose center of gravity is not where your hands expect it to be.
My Role
- Built the input processing pipeline in Unity for raw Leap Motion data.
- Tuned sensitivity curves and physics feedback to verify intuitive mechanics.
- Iterated on the gray-box scene as a hypothesis-testing rig, not a polished demo.
Reflection
Interaction design is closer to comedic timing than to UI design. This project taught me how cheap it is — and how powerful — to prototype with the body in mind first.
